A New Era Ahead: Brand Relaunch & New Beginnings in Maryland
Nine years is a long time.
Long enough to figure out what you’re good at. Long enough to make mistakes, learn from them, and come back stronger. Long enough to build something real, a community of people who’ve made Teas’n You part of their routine, their late nights, their Sunday afternoons, their everyday.
And as we head into our tenth year, we find ourselves asking the questions that only time earns you the right to ask: What does the next decade look like? Who do we want to be? How do we want to show up for the people who’ve been with us all along? We don’t have all the answers yet. But we’re asking the questions out loud, because we think you deserve to know what’s happening, and why.
Growing Up Takes Resources. And Intention.
Expansion is exciting. It’s also expensive, time-consuming, and humbling. Every new location, every design decision, every dollar spent is a reminder that growth without clarity is just noise. So before we build anything new, we have to get clear on the most important thing: who are we, really?
Not who we were when we opened in 2017, full of energy and figuring it out as we went. Not the version of us that survived a pandemic, pivoted when we had to, and kept showing up. But who we are now, and who we want to become.
That’s what this brand refresh is really about.
We Outgrew the Label
We’ve been called a fusion tea house for a long time. And that was true, once. But it doesn’t quite capture what we’ve become.
Teas’n You is a place that serves tea, coffee, and snacks — yes. But more than that, it’s a place that brings to those that gather. For early mornings before the day gets loud. For midday breaks that actually feel like a break. For late nights when you’re not ready to go home yet. For the small, ordinary moments that end up meaning the most.
We want every visit to feel like a little treat. Not indulgent in a guilty way, just a small luxury you give yourself because you deserve it. A good drink, a good snack, a good moment. That’s the standard we’re holding ourselves to as we grow.
Every Wall We Put Up Is Us Trying to Get It Right
Building a new space forces you to make a lot of decisions fast. And in the middle of all of it, we keep coming back to the same question: why are we doing this?
The answer, every time, is you.
The guests who’ve been with us since the beginning. The ones who introduced us to their friends, their families, their coworkers. The ones who drove across town because nothing else hit quite the same. We’re building for them, and for everyone who hasn’t found us yet.

Our newest location in Rockville is an expression of Teas’n You that we cannot wait to share. A new space, a refreshed look, and a menu that reflects exactly where we are right now.
We’re excited, not just about the opening, but about what it means. Nine years of learning, showing up, and caring deeply about this community has brought us here. And we’re just getting started.
