Teas’n You is officially open in Rockville, MD. — our second location, nine years after we opened our first in Tysons back in 2017. If you haven’t been in yet, here’s what Teas’n You is: a place to be. Somewhere to grab a drink, catch up with friends and family, get a little work done, or simply enjoy some me time. The student with an assignment, the solo lunch that turns into an afternoon, the group that finally found time to meet up, there’s a seat here for all of it.

Teas’n You is officially partnering with the Organic Butcher of McLean. We asked our friends there to help us source the best chicken we could, and now it’s all NAE and halal from Farmers Focus. No Antibiotics Ever (NAE) means the chicken never received antibiotics at any point. It’s the stricter, more precise standard, and it’s exactly what we wanted for you.

We’ve been called a fusion tea house for a long time. And that was true, once. But it doesn’t quite capture what we’ve become. It’s a place that brings to those that gather. For the small, ordinary moments that end up meaning the most. A good drink, a good snack, a good moment. That’s the standard we’re holding ourselves to as we grow.

Here’s the idea. Matcha is traditionally made from shaded green tea. In Vietnam’s Central Highlands, a few farmers tried it another way, taking creamy oolong cultivars, shading them like matcha, then stone-milling them with the same care. The result is oolong matcha: the focus you want from matcha, with the deeper, rounder note of oolong underneath.

Here’s something we believe: great food shouldn’t have a curfew. And it definitely shouldn’t have a guest list. Starting February 20, we’re extending our hours until 2am on weekdays. Fridays and Saturdays, we’re now open until 4am.
